Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ's)

• Do I have to attend meetings if I join?

No. Meetings are open to all, but attendance is not required. Only paid PTO members can vote.

• Do I have to volunteer?

No. Volunteering is optional. Your membership fee alone supports the school.

• Can family members other than parents join?

Yes! Guardians, grandparents, and anyone who supports YWLAP can join  and/or support the PTO.  

• How will I know about PTO events and updates?

We share information through our website, social media, and school communication channels. 

• Where do PTO funds go?

Funds go toward classroom resources, student activities, teacher support, events, and campus needs.

• How can I get involved if I don't have much time?

Even small contributions such as sharing a post, donating supplies, helping at a single event make a BIG difference!
